The Dracolurg and Dracoslyth are a species of monsters. These dragon-like creatures are pallet swaps of each other, with varying levels of strength and elemental attributes and are fought in different locations in the game. This monster line is notable for being quite tougher than other monsters fought in their areas, and are some of the strongest monsters in the game.

The Dracolurg is a black variant with blue fins and is Purple-affiliated.

In-battle, the Dracolurg can use the following battle commands:

  • Attack: A standard physical attack.
  • Frost Breath: The monster breathes a stream of icy cold air, causing the area around the party to freeze over and shatter, inflicting damage on all of them.
  • Terrible Bite: The monster grabs onto a single party member and starts flailing them around, before slamming them back onto the ground, inflicting damage. This ability also has a high chance of inflicting Fatigue.

When defeated Dracolurg yields 2992 EXP, 1155 Gold and have a 5% chance of dropping a Defensive Aura. They are fought in the Maw of Tartas, but seldom appear, to the point where it is not uncommon for some players to play through the entire game without ever seeing them.
