Ferlith monster line

The Ferlith and Feralisk are a species of monsters. These enemies, resembling elaborately designed wolves, are palette swaps of each other with varying levels of strength and are fought in different locations in the game. This monster line is Green-affiliated.

Ferlith

The Ferlith (ベルバウンド Berubaundo) is a green variant with yellowish legs.

In-battle, Ferlith can use the following battle command:

• Attack: A standard physical attack.
• Noxi
• Incremus

When defeated, Ferlith yield 291 EXP, 109 Gold and have a 3% chance of dropping Female Armor, a rare piece of gear not found elsewhere in the Dreamcast version (available from turning in 9 Moonfish in Legends). Ferlith are located in the lower levels of Rixis.

The Ferlith is almost as fast as the Totelm, but given the latter's lack of offense and durability, the Ferlith is easily more dangerous. It is only outclassed by the slower, but much stronger Slothstra. The Female Armor they seldom drop is a good piece of armor for Aika and Fina up until Daccat's Island.

In Skies of Arcadia Legends, Ferlith's model is reused for the Death Hound monster that appears alongside Piastol.

Feralisk

The Feralisk (ベルクロード Berukurōdo) is a violet variant with blue legs.

In-battle, Feralisk can use the following battle command:

• Attack: A standard physical attack.
• Noxi
• Incremus

When defeated, Feralisk yield 228 EXP (oddly, less than what the weaker Ferlith yields), 155 Gold and have a 4% chance of dropping a Light Coat, obtainable here and in a chest in Rixis. Feralisk are located in Daccat's Island.

The Feralisk is about as fast as the Baroo but has fewer HP than its predecessor. Therefore, it may prove damaging to slower party members, but should be easier to down. The Light Coat they seldom drop serves as a good alternative for the Maiden Armor for Fina, offering slightly less Magic Defense in favor of an increased Hit and Dodge percent.
