The Flestik and Centralk are a species of monsters. These enemies, resembling snake-like insects, are palette swaps of each other, with varying levels of strength and are fought in different locations in the game. All of the variants in this monster line are blue-element.

Flestik[]

The Flestik is a blue variant with a green underbelly. Statistically, they have 42 HP, 68 Attack, 64 Defense, 50 Magic Defense, 19 Vigor, 28 Will, 32 Quick, 10 Agile, a Hit percentage of 85 and Dodge percentage of 5. They only have one attack option:

  • Attack: A physical attack that has a chance of inflicting sleep on the target.

When defeated, Flestik yields 9 EXP, 18 Gold, and have a 3% chance of dropping a Curia Crystal. They are fought in Shrine Island.

In spite of their weak apperance, the Flestik can be a dangerous early-game enemy due to its sleep-inducing physical attack, which can leave the target vulnerable to other enemies. This is only made worse by the fact that they sometimes appear with Seekers, a duo that could decimate your two-man party if they succumb to Sleep.

Centralk[]

The Centralk is a yellow variant with a tan underbelly. Statistically, they have 187 HP, 206 Attack, 194 Defense, 151 Magic Defense, 57 Vigor, 86 Will, 97 Quick, 10 Agile, a Hit percentage of 85 and Dodge percentage of 10. They only have one attack option:

  • Attack: A physical attack that has a chance of inflicting sleep on the target.

When defeated, Centralk yields 259 EXP, 645 Gold, and have a 5% chance of dropping either a Sword of Daccat or a Daccat Custom. They are seldom encountered in Daccat's Island.

Much like its predecessor, the Centralk's sleep-inducing attack is the main thing to look out for when battling it, though by this point, sleep is more of an annoyance than a threat. What's most notable about Centralk are its drop items, both of which are rare weapons not found anywhere else. The Sword of Daccat is a great weapon for Vyse to have in the upcoming Grand Fortress dungeon and will likely stay in the party's inventory at least until Esparanza. The Daccat Custom is less sought after since Gilder won't be in your party for as long and his default weapon is more than adequate for getting though the Grand Fortress.
