The Grouder and Drogerp are a species of monsters. These enemies, resembling large fish, are palette swaps of each other, with varying levels of strength and are fought in different locations in the game. This monster line is Purple-affiliated.

A Grouder (アーアペプ Āapepu) is a red variant with orange and yellow eyes.
In-battle, a Grouder can use the following battle commands:
- Attack: A standard physical attack.
- Wevli
- Panika
- Eerie Wail: The monster emits a series of green sound waves that damage all party members in the line of fire.
When defeated, Grouder yields 19 EXP, 48 Gold, and have a 4% chance of dropping a Throwing Blade; a rare, lower level weapon for Aika. They are fought on the outer paths of Shrine Island and afterwards, in the Mid Ocean and airspace around Sailor's Island.
This creature has the unique distinction of being the first Mini-Boss in the progression of the game. On the first platform the first time the party reaches the outer paths of lower Shrine Island, there is a 100% encounter with a Grouder and 2 Marocca's. Although it is not a difficult battle, it gives a great first impression of the Grouder. After the battle is won, the mini-boss is "cleared", and players will not always fight that set of enemies every time they cross that platform.
When first encountered in Shrine Island, the Grouder is a Sub-boss class monster relitive to the player levels at the time. It possesses the highest HP rating, strongest Attack and highest Defense of any random encounter creature to that point, making it the highest class enemy in the exterior portions of the dungeon and the surrounding skies. Most of its stats are outperformed by other monsters it subsequently fights alongside in Sailor's Island airspace, but it still has the highest HP rating among them.

A Drogerp (アイガムハ Aigamuha) is a yellow variant with purple eyes.
In-battle, a Drogerp can use the following battle commands:
- Attack: A standard physical attack.
- Wevles
- Panika
- Eerie Wail: The monster emits a series of green sound waves that damage all party members in the line of fire.
When defeated, Drogerp yields 1122 EXP, 278 Gold, and have a 2% chance of dropping a Magus Seed. They are fought in the the airspace near the Dark Rift.
Like its predecessor, Drogerp is the main enemy to look out for around the Dark Rift given that it has the highest HP and Attack ratings by a large margin as well as strong Defense, although it is also the slowest enemy in the area.
