Merida (メリダ) is a dancer in Ixa'Taka.
Profile[]
Merida can be found at the tavern in Horteka. After Vyse finds the Message she sent from a balloon and obtains the Delphinus, after which he searches for crew members, Merida joins Vyse's crew to avenge her father's death at the hands of the Valuan Empire. Despite her inability to fight, she hopes to aid those who fight on the side of good by bringing joy through her dancing.
Recruitment[]
If Merida is given the Message in a Bottle (found at the top of the Sailor's Island lighthouse) she can be recruited after Vyse becomes captain of the Delphinus. Her resentment towards Valuans softens over time as interactions with Marco and Enrique allow her to see Valuans for more than just their military.
Abilties[]
Merida joins the crew as a jester and, while active, increases the value of the Delphinus, which is completely useless since the ship cannot be sold.
During the Blue Rogues Attack, she spins onto the screen and does a short dance, healing the party.
On the lower deck of the Delphinus, she initially performs her native dances for the other crew members, but if Urala has been recruited, she will don traditional Yafutoman clothes and perform Yafutoman dances instead.
